Usually not ... but at least they weren't corded this time!

Doug ... you did great. Just remember that 'smooth' is 'fast'.

In-car video with a static tripod mount is less exciting than watching me try to keep a camera steady manually... enjoy the show

Thanks obviously to Nadine (registrar), Brain (DE Chair), Marty (CDI), and all the other volunteers that made it a great event.

Also was great to meet ALOT of Rennlisters in person. I think the award for the longest haul goes to Chris (Crazy Cannuck) for coming down from Canada! Enjoyed meeting you finally in person Chris after the many years of PM's of emails And of course all the many other Rennlisters that I met were some of the nicest guys and enjoyed running with on track or even allowing me to hop in the right seat to help out with the track.

Looking forward to the next one!
VIR was fun. This past weekend was my first time there. Hope I didn't hold any of you guys up too much. By Sunday I felt like I knew somewhat what I was doing although I know I left a lot of speed on the table.

Carolinas puts on a fun event. Great to finally meet you as well Dell and Randall Joe and a few others ...

Made it home this afternoon about 3. Almost 800 miles ... one way. 13 hrs including fuel stops, border etc. Myself and the couple in the Polar Silver 993 ("Tikka" New Hampshire plates) are about the same distance. We drove back together up until Pennsylvania.

Now some of you southerners have to come up to Mt. Tremblant, Mosport, The Glen, Calabogie ...

Didn't notice my driver's seat did you? It's bolted a rabbit hair off the floor.

The passenger seat, on a slider, is about 4" higher.

That's hilarious! I didn't even notice that. I knew there had to be something going on to make it fit.

Wheh is right! Glad to hear that's all it was. I seemed to think that was all just from a quick diagnosis at the track and now happy to hear that's all it was.

blakt out - super glad to hear it was 'minor'

Forgot to mention, posted some pics from the event here: http://somniplex.com/gallery/v/autos.../pca_vir_1108/. Took a lot more so pm me if you're looking for something specific. My other half took over 500 pix so we probably have something of you somewhere.

Quick Reply: Big thanks to PCA Carolinas at VIR (21-23 Nov)!!!
