If you guys keep telling everyone about Bob Chick, we won't have any tires left!

Lucky for me, I live near him.

Just make sure you check the date, I bought some Toyos from Bob Chick and forgot to ask the date - they were about 4 years old!

As far as checking dates, how old is too old for something like an RA1

I have some 225/45/15 Hoosiers for local pickup cheap if anyone needs them. One is
almost brand new.

And a pair of 245/45/16.

And a set of GT3 cup Michelin blues (they hold the track record
at NJMP, I put on newer tires and went slower!)

EMAIL (don't PM) for more info

there are quite a few sources for used race tires. Bob doesn't have everything....last time I called for Yok slicks, he had none.

www.racetire.com - not used, but closeouts
m_osterhus@yahoo.com - Monty Osterhus
denvermut@msn.com - Denver Ray Mut, crew chief for a 997 team in Texas. i bought yoko slicks from him for $25 each, good for one weekend at least.

I been using race scrubs for a while and am very happy with them. Unfortunately you guys named my two best sources JB and Bob. I hope I can still get my HO HOs after you guys all pounce.

BTW: The R888 they get are very limited in size. Smallest in an 18 is a 265 and only a 235 in 17s.
