That is great news. I had read this was likely coming, but great to see it happen. I really like the Cayman and with the great improvements in the "facelift" 911, Porsche has seen fit to up the mid-engined car's spec.

The styling changes are subtle, but good. Love what was done with the foglights as well as the headlight module...

um so it's got 20 more hp. will it have a solution to the typical cayman on-track failures?

porsche needs to spend a bit of their ad budget on fixing known problems or figuring out that the pdk steering wheel buttons are retarded.

I want paddles with my PDK!

It is the new engine 3.4 DFI, PDK, the whole 9. Looks good too. I like it. I think Porsche is going to take out most of the chumps with this and the new 911 and the new GT3/TT/GT2 will be something insane when they get the upgrades.

Less weight, more power, mare aggressive, everything. The new 911 with the PDK has proven already to be worth the while in performance, now the cayman, tommorrow the world.

Looks awesome!

Porsche and BMW made a big mistake in the last decade when they no longer offered LSD in most of their "ultimate driving machines". The Cayman is a great chassis, now it has excellent power and a way to put it down. Watch out GT3s on Solo-II courses.

This is what the should have made back in 2006. 320 Hp and a LSD for a $70k car is not going to cut it these days.

An used Cayman S for practically 1/2 the price and low miles is ten times more appealing. $70k buys a nice 996 GT3.

I agree, but there are people (lots of them) that just don't even consider buying anything but new cars. So that price will line up OK within the 2009 model lineup.
