If you are in the Atlanta area Todd at J-3 Motorsports - custom bars and cages, his welds are artwork. Fit is incredible.

Check out some of the oval track shops, a lot of them do very sophisticated work for about 1/2 the usual porsche tax.

Robinson Racing was one of the first shops that was
able to install a full cage in the C-6 Z06.
Not many shops ( at least who I would trust) can weld steel to an alumium frame !!!
They also design and manufacture for custom applications.
Robinson did my two piece slotted brake rotors...
Coleman rotors/Robinson alum. hats...
When the C6-Z06's first came out.
This was long before after market parts were available.

I wouldn't quite say they welded steel to aluminum but the way they did it makes it stronger than just welding steel to steel. Very creative and very professional.
