Default PCA GCR Instructor School Weekend

Registration is now open on DriverRegistration.com for Gold Coast Region's Instructor School Weekend at the new & improved Moroso Motorsports Park in West Palm Beach. (Now called Palm Beach International Raceway, I believe.)

Saturday, January 10th is the Instructor School for solo-qualified drivers who would like to become a PCA Certified Instructor. Sunday, January 11th is a regular Driver's Education day. Sign up early, as space is limited for both days.

Feel free to email me if you have any questions or need any further information. Hope to see you there!

I have just spent the better part of my last two weeks at this track. This is going to be a wonderful track to teach at, Every corner is a late apex and they all teach patience. There is still a long straight so you can let the big HP guys have some fun there and the braking zone at the end is nice and straight. I am very excited to hear all about all the improvements coming in the near future. I am hoping to make it to this event in some capacity

You better! Where else would we go for the post-event instructor party? We'd have to go trash Erik or Rich's place instead.
Wait a minute, doesn't Erik have a couple of shifter karts? Hmmm, a bunch of rowdy instructors, lots of beer and shifter karts. What could possibly go wrong?

I think there is still a bottle of Makers Mark here.

The only reason I would not make the school is if we are doing the NASA HMS race. If we are not racing that weekend I will be at PBIR with a party to follow at my house ( just dont tell anybody, I dont want it posted on the net or anything) (damn it!)

I'll be there. I do have a question though. Can I register for just Saturday? If I can register for just Saturday do I have to participate in the school or can I just run in the instructor group? Well, I guess that's two questions....

I have some good in-car video of the track at speed if anyone is interested.

Dan, I'm still working on the issue we discussed. It's looking good though

registered, still have to do the wife's registration, bringing the Mini. I thought it was going to be the first weekend of the year, not the second ??. Thank goodness I'll have off Monday 12th thru Wednesday the 14th before I go back to Sebring for 4 days w PBOC. 6 track days in 9 days, or 12 track days in 1 month after including PCA 48 hours on Feb 5-8 and Moroso again w PBOC on Feb 14 and 15. That's the way to break in the new year !!!
