You can't miss me, there's black soot all over the back of the car....
Yes, Chris is right too guys, there is race gas for sale at the track, there are alot of drag racing events that go on there (same track that Lap of America used for the 1/4 mi. feature that Leh Keen and co. reported here on) so I'd guess the fuel is fresh.
Also, like Chris stated, there is a Shell gas station/convenience store about 2 miles away with V-Power, oil, etc.
Anyways....bump for the thread for those who may not have seen it yet, registration closes in 6 days, 11-17 and there's no waiting list yet so hurry up and register....

I went ahead and registered and also sent Lois an email asking how we would handle the fee if I was unable to make it. It's going to be one of those last minute things for me if it works out that I can make it..

From Houston, I-10 all the way to right before you would cross the bridge into Baton Rouge, so the big silver bridge and state capital building will come into view and you start looking for La1 south to Plaquemine.
Once you exit off, you'll cross a semi high water bridge over the intercoastal waterway and you'll be heading south on a median divided 4 lane.
(large Wal-Mart on the left for last minute stuff you forgot - and there's a Waffle House waiting for you depending on what time it is)
First town you pass through (speed trap - watch the 45mph) will be Brusly, then a town called Addis, then eventually entering Plaquemine as you pass the large Dow Chemical plant on your left, all told about 12 miles from when you first exited the interstate.
There's a Best Western (brand new) in Plaquemine right on the bank of Bayou Plaquemine near the historic Mississippi R. locks, a few Civil War era buildings too if you're into that sort of thing.
Ok...., if you're continuing on to the track you just proceed about 10 miles farther south and take a right at the first red light in White Castle.
There'll be a sign (blue) pointing you to 'No Problem Raceway' from there.
Oh....if the historical stuff does interest you, maybe a wife or girlfriend if they're coming, just before you get to that White Castle red light is 'Notaway Plantation' on the left. Worth seeing imo and there's an authentic cajun restaurant there also....guided tours, etc.
Let me know if you need more detail....., I'm here to serve....
