Enough of this talk of my member (Yes, it has been the inspiration for legends such as The Little Engine That Could) and back to the road. I just returned from a week of amazing driving through the Ozarks with 45 other Porsches of Jack McCall's (GM of Porsche of North Houston) group and can't wait to see if any of this experience transfers to the track. Simply outstanding roads: a seemingly endless supply of sharp and shallow turns (most all on camber) and apparently no speed limits. None of those wimpy run off areas either (rocks and trees are provided to cushion you to a stop). Think of DE runs on a track you have never driven on that go on for hours at a time. Stop for lunch and do it all over again. We'll see if I learned anything! (Pics to follow in a separate thread).
