Default Rolex 24 hrs

Just curious how many Rennlisters will be attending the 24 hours @ Daytona. I'll be driving my 964 down and staying for all 4 days. Was hoping to meet up with some fellow P-car race fans while I'm down there.

We'll be doing wither 12 hrs of Sebring or 24 of Daytona. We prefer 12 hrs since it's ALMS but 24 hrs is longer so the decision is still open...

Few guys, big RV and ton of "supplies"...

My wife and I will be there with a group of fellow Ohio GTS Challenge racers from Friday thru Sunday. Get your tickets thru the Grassroots Motorsports Experience event. http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/eve...na-experience/

Have no interest in the DPs or the GT cars running at Daytona. Bummer. I am going to Sebring again if I can.

Will be there for sure. Helping to man the PCA hospitality tent again this year. Last year had a blast and met hundreds of great people. Park your Porsche in the secure PCA paddock and have lunch with us!

Something has gotten in the way the last 4 years. I'm making a serious effort to go this year.

This year's event is of particular interest to me because Penske is entering a Porsche powered Riley. Dumas will be one of the drivers. Penske supposedly is keeping the very team that was responsible for the Spyder program busy and gaining 24h racing experience, whilst the rumored LMP1 Hybrid Porsche is being developed this year and next. (although this is still a rumor, it does look like it will be reality. No official news yet.)

I will definately look everybody up. I am not currently a PCA member do I need to be a member to meet up and park with all of you guys???

I'm really looking forward to this race. I hae been taking my father to at least one race a year(2-3 races usually), and up until this yearone of them has been the F1 race in Indy ...so I will be ready to let off some steam and see some racing come January. I am not all that familiar with the track down there at Daytona, is there a key place to set up for the race. I have the regular pit passes that will let me through the pits on Thrs. and Friday, but after that??? It really is a bummer not having the race up at Indy. my whole family is from there and it is actually the first race track I got to drive on at 13 so I will miss having the full Hot Pit passes that I am used to having every year but, c est la viv. Unless... someone on here knows how I can get my hands on some

If all goes well, I should be helping out with the Bullet Racing crew in the pits. Look for the red & white canadian maple leaf 997 cup car.

Scott you will be VERY welcomed at the PCA Paddock. Park your car and hang out. Daytona is set up fairly well for watching the "important" sections of the track. There are grandstands set up all around the infield. You can just take your time and walk all around the track and visit all the corners, what the hell it's a fairly long race!
BTW a PCA membership costs $42.00 at PCA.org

Are they going to have the Porsche Paddock this year?
I know one group of 12 from Ocmulgee Region looking forward to this - they've hired a bus! A small group from Coastal Empire will be there. The usual suspects from Palmetto Region will be down that way... Don't know how Florida Crown is this year - but they always have a large turn out.
