Default 1973 911 GT4S/GTS4 for sale

Back on the market again with a new 0 hour Dawe 3.4. Car is still at his shop as I type.

$45,000 OBO

Kelly Moss built on a 1973 chassis in 1999
Dawe built 3.4 liter with PMO’s
Newly rebuilt/ regeared 915 gearbox March 2008 (three events on box)
New 4 puck racing clutch disc
Transmission cooler with new pump (March 2008)
KMR adjustable sway bars
Cockpit adjustable brake bias
Penske racing shocks
Engine lowered in chassis and set up for quick drop
Carbon fiber dash
Kirkey seat
Two sets of 18" wheels (BBS and Fikse) I run 285's in front and 345's in rear
On board fire system
Fuel Safe fuel cell
New FIA 6 point Shroth Hans specific harnesses in 2007
New right side and window net 2007
Some spare parts.
I cannot imagine what it would cost to duplicate this car.

Did you drop the price, John? $45,000 seems like a screamin' deal. Hell, if I sold my car, I'd ask for $40,000.

Good luck. What's in your future?

I have been mulling over the Spec Boxster idea since last year. While the 911 is cheaper to run per weekend (great tire wear i.e. two sets per season, easy on brakes, rotors etc) the amount of money I have tied up in the car is more than I really want to do right now. I can get the Boxster done, still race and have lots less cash tied up.

I think I have my two car trailer sold. Basically, I am just downsizing, but not eliminating, my "extracurricular activities".

It's a sick car. Good luck with the sale.

Have you looked at SCCA GT2 rules to see what it would need to be legal? Obviously the wing needs to go, and some ballast needs to be added. But with good slicks, that car could be competitive with a GT3 cup...
