Imola took Senna from us and I will never want to see F1 there. They even demolished the Tamburelo corner there.
And arguing over Italian vs. French food and wine is like blonds vs. brunettes arguments. Have both.
There is a race in Italy already. In Monza close to Italian motorsports heartland. Can't have a much better location.

Andrei, I agree with you on the blonds and brunettes analogy......
As far as Imola, it is unfortunate for the great loss of Senna, but it would seem unfair to condemn a track for one tragic accident........

I have no lamentation over the French GP. The loss of the Montreal GP is the real bummer. A great city and culture to spend 4 days in. Great food. Beautiful race site. (How many races do you get to take a pontoon boat to your seat!). A track with actual passing. Undoubtably to be replaced by some bland, sand strewn, no passing Herman Tilke circuit in a desert.

Sears Point would work, too.

I'd love to see an F1 race there, but not enough accomadations and a short track and not to FIA specs.
Bernie Eccelstones answer to the question of a future USGP today was classic Bernie spin.

Road America would be better than both, but no way is Bernie going to put an F1 race in Nowheresville, WI with no big hotels or airport nearby.
