Inner bearings have been short lived in my RE hubs now too. One went quickly last year, one just this past weekend. Lucky me didn't sell the stock hubs, so I could just swap and continue my weekend. Mine are M030's.

I haven't had time to totally tear apart the one from this past weekend. The cage on the bearing was broken and chipped my spindle a bit. Not happy.

Interesting. I have one non-M030 and tried to buy another but Karl said he could not deliver it and gave no date for when he could.

I wonder if he has pulled the billet hubs until he can verify the causes of the failure and re-design them. Looks like I will be rebuilding the stock hub and carrying a spare in case the Racers Edge hub fails and doesn't take the spindle with it.

If there is a V2, I hope there is a free upgrade path.
