Default Did anyone race at Miller?

I have not seen anything about the PCA race at Miller Motorsports Park last weekend. Did anyone go? No update on Mylaps yet...

Mifkin,

I didn't know you followed racing anymore. Maybe you can make it to the track again sometime

What I heard from a friend who was there was that it was a really clean weekend with little contact if any. He said Loren Beggs won the sprints in his monster TT, and that there were 20- 6 & 7 cups racing. Sorry that's all I got...

John,
Sorry you were not there, it was a great weekend. Not only did Loren win the sprint races, but set a new track record during qualifying - 2:50.01, now that is flying.

perfect weekend. I believe a black GTA cup #437 car made contact with a d class 911 in the enduro but that was the only contact I know off. None in the blue group. And yes there were 944 SP1 cars the class is growing.

great weekend thanks to the IRPCA group. and yes 2:50 on a 4.5 mile course is hauling the mail.

Great weekend of racing! Weather was near perfect. Thanks to all of you who made it from out of state for the race.

Cheers,

6 of us from Alberta went down for the associated 3 day DE/lapping event. The racing was very clean with surprisingly few MMP dust clouds from spins. The only contact that we noticed was the black GTA cup car...light on the left front fender; not sure who he contacted. The weather was fantastic the entire weekend and the event was very well organized. Thanks to all involved for a great weekend.

As I recall from my view in the grid.

In the Satuday Enduro Andy Wilzoch (#437 GTA) and Pat Williams (#334 GT1R) were close 1 and 2. They were into slower traffic and something happened on the back, turn 6(?), that ended up with Andy off the track and the car out for the weekend. Pat Williams ran away with it after that. Loren Beggs didn't run in the Enduro or the second race on Sunday but was clearly the fast car of the weekend. Pat Williams won the second race on Sunday too.

I'd guess about 80 race cars and about 60 DE drivers for the event.

Okay, so I'm definitely not the official scorer.

You were driving the white 993? Beautiful car! Did you win the Enduro? I've gotta admit that I got a bit lost in the Enduro. You leaders were lapping the field so fast and I couldn't see the pits so I wasn't sure who was where. I thought you got the checkered flag but another guy told me that the 334 car had already finished.

6 people! I stopped by on Saturday to catch up with a few Rennlisters who were attending the DE (pranqster from NM, thusly from Vegas, Bob Read from SLC)... I would have come by to say hello to the "alberat connection'. My GT3 is finally in the shop after tire wall contact at Turn 2 back in July. I'll find out the damage soon...

Sorry we were not able to meet up. Hope you had a blast. 2:50 is hauling!

-Blake
