Default Hoosier question - can mix R5 &R6

Hi Guys

In a little bit of a dilema. I have been running Toyo RA1's all year but the fronts have seen their last day of life this week. Now my dilema starts as I will likely be changing car over the winter so do not want to spend money on new tires as I will only have 4 more DE days this year

I actually have in the garage 2 rear Hoosier S3R05 tires and 2 front R6 tires (both new and unused) Is it ok to mount and run these tire in combination together. I assume that it is but want to check with you guys first

Dan,

I used to run rear S04's and front R6's with no issues. Contact Hooiser for any special pressure requirements.

Hoosier did use to recommend higher pressures for the R2S05s over the R6...

don't listen to Gary, he thinks you can still run Hoosiers until after you get through the first layer of steel

See, that's only a problem for a few laps, then you are back on rubber again..
