Default When DTM was cool.....

Typically music and racing videos don't mix, but for some reason its works on this one. The whole eurodance thing goes with the era... Nothing like E30's, 190E's, Alfas, Sierra's, Audi V8's, around the real Ring', sorry but IMO modern DTM with just two manufacturers and the aero/tube frame quasi spec cars (tranny, brakes, aero performance adjustments) just doesn't hold a candle to the late 80's early 90's DTM.....

Its a sure sign of age to be nostalgic for times past but I totally agree. Nice footage.

I love the old e30 M3s and Cosworth 190Es...such fantastic cars. Didn't know they raced at one point at the Nordschleife.

If you liked that video, you'll really like this one (the music fits perfectly, too):

Fantastic old DTM video

There really was nothing like '80s and '90s DTM. Same goes for Group B.

Different strokes for different folks.... Like I said I typically can't stand music to racing vids, it's the footage I like, but for some reason that makes me want to go out and race.....

I was there. Rally Acropolis 1986. I can still feel the heat from the blue flame out of Stig's Ford RS200. The 205T16 was a sight to behold, the Lancia S4 was pure beast and the Audi Q was music to my ears. Glorious drifts and manic power. ***** to the wall. These were the days indeed.

Great video and I think the music went well with it. Another class which is just as exciting is the JGTC.
