Default 964 Cups Battle @ Lightning Race

Here's some video of the first sprint race and the battle that Andy & I had. The other 2 races were basically exactly the same, with many laps of nose to tail, 2 wide, passes & repasses...it was great!

Thanks for posting, great racing. We were all laughing at your GTC1 split start in the enduro! Cool idea.

Too funny...Jenks is like a gnat you think you got rid of, but just keeps popping back up and won't go away! Good, fun racing.

You like our Grand Am start, eh? We figured it would make the race a lot more fun .

I think we went thru T1 & T2 side by side abut 1/2 the time...in all three races!

Colin,

Great stuff! Every time I thought you had him entering T1, Andy would pop ahead of you. Two drivers who trust each other . . . that's fun racing. I'm glad we got you going with the battery pack!

+1. That is my definition of good, clean racing, and what club racing is all about.

I really enjoyed watching you guys on the track. You seemed to have a rope attached to each other's roof.

Thanks for posting your video Colin. I think it captures the spirit of what club racing is all about. Beautiful track...

Hey Guys,

This race was a blast! Colin and I had a great time. Would have been more fun if we could have kept up with Charlie, as he crushed us. In both races Colin got by me with one or two laps to go to take second in class. It was fun to race side by side with a talented driver you can trust. Colin was much better than me in the last turn which is why we went side by side through 1 so many times.

I will post my video soon. Once you see it, you will quickly notice that the first pass of the video was pretty hairy for me.

Here's the video from my point of view. I have posted highlights from both sprint races.

Sprint Race 1 Highlights

Sprint Race 2 Highlights

Don't forget to watch in my mirror to see Colin making his runs onto the front straight!
