OK, a quick update.
Charlie Boyer beat his personal best time and dipped in the 2:28s! Congrats Charlie. He won his class in the sprint.
As for the Green group, it was a manic manic race. Crossman won E class and beat all but 3 F class cars. To put this in perspective, our run group was composed of roughly 20 F cars, 25 E cars, 8 Ds, and the rest. He cleaned up! Between his performance at the glen and today, he is quickly becoming the national ruler in E!!! Dick Strahota ran a real solid race as well. Slawek Ruszel (E) had brake issues, which made his slower than normal.
Pat Womack came out of the woodwork in D. He finished 7th overall and beat my best time from last year (what would be the G class track record) by a full second. Pat promised to come out east for the Glen race next year. He is inspired I will tell you. Sean, Gary: we have our work cut out.
Bill Petty (E) from Colorado was running real strong (like he was at the Glen), but drove on the grass for too long between 3 and 5 (that straight is sooo long) and filled up his right brake duct and clogged his oil cooler. His car caught on fire once he reached the pits... This to say that he did not finish the race.
The Red group (GTC3-4, GTA) has seen more carnage than ever this weekend. Their sprint race today was no more than 6 laps. A guy stamped his car in the wall at T1 (this is were cup cars have to decelerate from 165mph by the way). Mike I had to start last since he did not put in a lap in qualifying this morning. He passed a bunch of guys but did the black flag stopped him in his tracks. Mike ain't too crazy about his performance this weekend so far. Perhaps tomorrow's enduro will be his salvation.
Wayne-O blew his motor after he lost all of his engine oil between the kink and the pits. Corner workers could have been more directive and force him to immobilize his car. The track was shut for 30 minutes for the clean-up.
And me... well I have a whopping 15 laps in so far this weekend. 4 laps in practice 3, 6 laps in the fun race, 2 in the warm up today, 2 qualifying, and 1 in the sprint. I have not run a single lap with at full power because of the fuel system issues that i am still dealing with. My best lap so far is 2.5 sec off my best time last year... As frustrating as it is, it is still better than work! Perhaps tomorrow's enduro will be my salvation as well.
I will post more tomorrow when i get back home!

Thanks for the update Fred...sorry you're still struggling with the car. Hopefully you'll get this thing figured out soon.
Wayne-O you have some seriously bad luck man. Sorry to hear it.

The weather was perfect, the DE's were great and the Club Races on Sunday were a lot of fun to watch.
There was a Carrera GT running in DE2 on Fri and Sat.

I was just a spectator/support crew at RA this weekend, but wanted to say thanks to everyone who so warmly welcomed us to this event! Many Rennlisters went out of their way to help the east coast contingency. Thanks to Oscar, Joey, and Ben (x 2!!) specifically, and thanks to everyone who bought cookies for Rennwish. I'll be sending John D. $110 once we get home tomorrow.
The weekend was beautiful and we saw some great racing!

Doug Crossman was absolutely smokin' this weekend. Had E covered. The other big story in our group was Pat Womack in a D 911 who had most of E and F covered. Way to go guys.
