which class(s) to race
I have set up my 88' 944 turbo over the summer while DE'ing and misc. track days with the intention of racing next year. My concern is that the E class appears to be quite small in PCA. In NASA it appears that the car won't be competitive in either GTS or Super Cup.

Unfortunately this guy ^^^^^^^^^^^^ will be in your (our) class.
He is way too fast, but a great guy.
The new E (old F) is a great place to learn how to drive.

Your car can run in E or F with some further modifications. At Mid-Ohio this past year there were 12 cars in E and 8 in F. At Mosport I think it was 8 in E and 13 in F. The classes in E and F are usually well represented in the NorthEast.

GTS with NASA is all about HP to weight. If you are in GTS2, there are several 968's and 944 turbos running in that class and they are very competitive with each other. The Great Lakes region has large GTS2 fields every event. I considered moving from GTS4 to GTS2 with another car just to have some fun with those guys.

Looking at the roster for this weekend's Chicago region club race at Road America, there are 30 "E" class cars registered. How many more competitors would you like? As previously mentioned, E & F typically make up their own run group within a club race weekend.

You just need a better co-driver in your car. Perhaps for the next enduro I should share it with Jack Baldwin!
