Leaving in 30 minutes to head down. Weather looks good and the car is ready to go (for a 924S that is). See you all there! -Jay

That was my first time at Pocono (2nd DE ever). Loved it!

Comparing it to Lime Rock i liked Pocono a little more also.. the extra run off was a bit more reassuring .

I think next season i am going to start getting a hotel room and staying over night. I woke up at 3:30am, left my house at 4am, made it down there at 6:30am.. 80mph the entire way on I80. Drove the entire day (5 sessions also!) and left at 6:30pm.. stopped twice for coffee, twice because my bladder was going to explode from too much coffee, missed one exit (because i wasnt really paying attention.. ) and made it home around 9pm.

And i really need to fix the cruise control on this car.. my ankle actually hurts from being on the gas for 400miles straight.. .

Cut that out! Pocono has the least expensive motels available of all the tracks that I attend each year (7-9 tracks). Our club rate was $52/night at the Blakeslee Inn last month. Nice, clean rooms and a great restaurant too.

Yea.. next season i will definetley do a hotel room. I was completely zoning out on the way home and it was the reason i missed one of the exits. I guess its good to be young and stupid sometimes.

Yes, but it is also good to improve the odds of becoming old and stupid where you can.

It was another great event by Metro. Despite a car that wanted to self destruct a few times, I had a blast. Luckily I have family about 25 minutes away, so loding, food, and beer are not a problem.

Great weather on Saturday...couldn't have asked for more!

Didn't stay for Sunday, so I don't know if it held up.

Fog lifted about 9:30 and it was sunny and 65 deg all day. You missed a good one.
