In car video Road Atlanta
Ok. I'm still pretty new to the sport, but figured critique is good. I'm fighting a soft brake pedal, so my heel/toe could be better. Had a blast!

Nice video Roger!
Thanks for posting, nice to see that you are getting a handle on that car.
Great track, I look forward to go back up to Atlanta again, running Sebring in Sept and Daytona in Oct. so maybe after that I wil make it up there again, or at least Roebling Road.
I am getting the Traqmate - Chase cam installed today, how come your RPM was not showing?

Wow Rog, your doing great, congrats on the win. Someone once told me it was more effective to brake and downshift at the very last minute from 5th to 2nd rather than brake, downshift 5th, 4th, 3rd and into 2nd. I find you can actually brake later and harder......

Nice driving Roger. Looks great! your fast lap was with traffic in 10a as well. Def worth some time if it was an open lap. The new exhaust sounds sweet on the video

There are 2 schools of thought on that, especially if you are able to downshift quickly...

Thanks Cory. There are some other spots I can pick up some time on as well even in the fast lap. But, it was my 2nd time at Road Atlanta so I tackle them next time. Excellent job on the car...I just love it!

rockin' vid, nice car, dig the data acq.
Try to loosen your grip on the wheel, way too much steering motion, and try a downshift into 2, seems like you're lugging out of there.

Yeah, no doubt. I try to relax my grip, but when the race gets going, I'm sure I have a death grip on the wheel! I've tried both ways into 2/3. The car does lug but if I go into 2nd I run out of rpms very fast and I have to shift again while trying to set 4 and the esses. I already have to shift going into to the esses to avoid a shift going through them, so this is the fastest way I've found so far for my car. I can definitely brake later into 3 and shave off some time, since I'm not making a downshift. My second gear just runs out very fast. Thanks for the suggestions!

Rog, something I learned from snow skiing is on occasion to release and point your index fingers. It relaxes your grip while maintaining control. I do it on straights and now its a subconscious habit -when I watch my videos I can see my index finger wiggling on the straights.
I saw your car at RA this weekend, nice graphics.
