Limerock with CVR today
#16
A former student of mine, who belongs to the LRP Club, told me that the Skippy guys are not happy with the curbing as well, and they might be making changes to them. They do 100's of laps there every day and they have strongly suggested lowering the problem curbs.

Well, I figured I owed CVR as i'm not a very active "volunteer" so yesterday was pay-it-forward time. As for my family, it's my family...

Gary - why did you not tell me this before I tried it In my last session just as I was thinking I had thiis driving lark nailed, I cut the curb and it felt as though I was sideways over the uphill crest. I can assure you that I will not be trying it again in a hurry!
Agree that it was a great day though, my most fun on the track yet!

Like many others I had a fantastic day at LRP. I drive a 6GT3 and I've never has the guts to be full throttle at the apex of the downhill. By the second session I had picked up 8 mph before the 6 mark on the main straight. The second apex of big bend is vexing...Many of us tried 3 or 4 diffent lines to find our marks. I sort of miss the concrete! ( but not thant much). As was mentioned the curbing on the uphill and west bend takes some getting used to. It's nice to hear someone else feel that the apex of west bend is hidden behind a 4" curb. I know I need to take west bend later but there is a real deterent to take it early as i hit the curbing once and vowed not to do that again.
Overall a blast and it is a new LRP.
