Default VIR, PCA Potomac, September 5-7, registration is open

We have space in White and Red run groups for our upcoming VIR three day event. We need drovers in White and Red run groups, particularly instructors. We also have space in Green and Blue; but, we are currently instructor limited. To that end, the first step in improving subscription is to open up the event to other marques.

non-Instructors $375/Instructors $225

If you are interested in participating please make your intentions known as early as possible. Reply by email to Charlie and me -- DERegistrar@Pcapotomac.org and DEChair@PCApotomac.org

Alan: I think I've figured out why you need more instructors.

Not sure if I'm reading that right, but is it $375 for a 3 day event? If so that is very reasonable.

OK.... Lets skip the track data system, you get a TomTom on your dash.

I'm in. I get my butt handed to me and have yet to win a DE at VIR but love the track and event. Alan, got another turbo for me? They help me wrap my head around the idea that the pedal on the right does something. )

Here's a real dilema... I am in "blue" with Potomac... Was moved UP to White at the spring Zone2, but somehow the whole transfer up didn't happen in potomac.. i've signed up for Summit Point with the hopes of getting signed off to white. I will be at the PCA Potomac event in September... I "hope" there is space in "white" for me, as I've signed up in "blue".

I'm not sure Zone 2 has the notion of promotion to a upper group. Doesn't that belong at the regional level? They may allow you to run in an upper group on an event-by-event basis.

Short on talent, and still learning
Maybe you could do a better job at bragging. Can't hurt

How many cars does the Potomac Region plan on running in the white and black/ red groups? I ask about both groups as I'm not sure where I would "land". Also, is the Friday session a full school or "invitational" open tracking day?

thanks.

Friday is a full DE day (i.e., not "open track.") As to which group you could go with, it's best to email Alan directly, DEChair@PCApotomac.org and discuss.

Hope to see you there!

Well actually Ralph B. and I discussed it and he said he would "move me" since two of our regional instructors had given the thumbs up... Howard N. signed off and then at Zone2 Woody Smith did the ride along on the Friday of the event.

Once Ralph (or one of his hench men) makes the change on the website you should be moved automatically to white.
