Default Race prep for my 996, hose clamps?

I have been told that te stock porsche hose clamps can be a weak link in a car that is going to be raced. And you can't win a race unless you finish it. So I was wondering if many of you who have built a 996 have gone and replaced most or all of your hose clamps? And what you replaced them with?

I raced mine for four years and never had a issue with hose clamps.

Thanks Jim, that is good news. I was hoping you would chime in on this since you built a pretty crazy one.

On the other hand, I did have the shifter cables pop off the tranny. Safety wire them on.

I guess I fooled another person...

That is not my car, it's a model of a gt3rs that I have been modding and working on in maya (3d software) so that I can animate it, driver and all. It's a personal project I have been working on in what little spare time I have.

Although, the real car has gone through a major transformation this summer:

Jim,
What other issues did you run across while building your car? There is only 1 other 996 racing out here, but he did not build it, so I don't have too much input from people who have gone through what I am doing now.
