Hi,

I tried emailing Riesentoter's registrar but have not heard back from her. I'd like to instruct the DE and run in red. Is there anyone else I can contact to see if there is room for this event?

mark, doesn't it make more sense to go on the Riesentoter site and contact folks such as the track chair or one of the board members instead of posting your question here?

It would make sense if I didn't already check, but I did. I looked at the Exec Board and did not see a good person to contact (no DE chair). I checked the "Driving Your Porsche" menu and looked at the headings under "Drivers Ed". Other than the registrar's email address, there is no one else to contact, at least from what I could see.

Since Larry Herman is the tech chair and since he and Bob Turgeon are RTR members who frequent the racing board, I thought maybe posting a general thread might get some helpful responses from them or other RTR members in the know.

If you're not a nationally certified PCA instructor, you can't instruct. Ask me how I know. And don't let me start on the "national instructor" certification issue.

Thanks, John. I am a nationally trained instructor. Apparently, PCA doesn't like to use the word certified due to, you guessed it, legal issues.

I know, I know. The PCA law of relativity states that no other driver from another region can be as fast as a similarly-grouped driver from the hosting region. Red, black, white . . . it doesn't really matter too much to me as long as I'm in the right group for my speed.
