A pass without a signal.......(G version)
If someone spins in front of you and you pass without a signal to avoid an accident is that grounds for a black flag?

Werent the corner workers waving the blue with yellow stripe flag?
I do not know of a DE that allows it - even when one thinks it should be tolerated. We teach folks like you to go into the pits - wait and come back out -- then you don't have to worry about the guy in front that wouldn't let you pass.
Sorry.
It was a driver ed - yes? not a race...

It's a DE, not a race. Why not pull in to the pit for a slow drive through, then exit with some clear track in front of you?
Most of us have been in your situation before (behind a "tard" who won't give a point), but I really don't think a no point pass is the solution.
Then, after the session is over either report the problem car or have a civil conversation with said driver about passing rules. I have had such "discussions" in the past and I have never had a problem with the same driver twice.
(Oh, and I predict over 5 pages)

no. if you can't get a pass, drive through the pit. I know it sucks, but if he isn't giving a pass because he doesn't see you, then you could surprise him by making the pass and cause him to do something unexpected. I was in the black run group at Mosport about 5 years ago, and the guy in front of me passed the car in front of him coming out of T3 without a signal. The front car wasn't expecting the pass and moved over to take the line int T4 and put the passing car 2 wheels in the grass at the top of 4. His lack of patience almost cause a two car wreck at a very fast part of the track.

You are SUCH a rebel!
DE where passing is tolerated... hmmm...let me see..... thats called a RACE.
And by the way....... you can and should STILL give a signal even in a race if appropriate.
Stop pretending and start racing.

no. as Stacy said go into the pit.
after the run go talk to the other driver. if you can't work it out (ie. other driver doesn't allow cars by) talk to the guy running the show.
alternatively stage before the other guy. on Calabogie you shouldn't lap them unless they are painfully slow

Let me just say that the flag person saw everything and did not black flag me for the rest of session......
Could there be any other reasons why someone would pass without a signal?.......
