Default New GS610 "Aqua" brake fluid!

Just flushed out ATE Blue with GS610 Amber fluid, how many flushes before my new fluid actually LOOKS amber? It's about 90% clear now, a nice shade of blueish yellow after 1.5 liters.. That ATE Blue may as well be blue INK!

On another note my front rotors are badly stress cracked, just ordered new slotted ones from frozen rotors! WTH, only a little over double the cost of stock!
My new stock rears are already grooved from those new RS14(?) Pagid blacks. I may go back to PF97s, at least they wear flat, these things look like the rings of Saturn are cut in them..

Damn Gary, You're going all out! When my case of Motul is gone, I'll be swapping back to GS610. I like it and have used it in the past!

don't do it...frozen slotted have been bad performers for me. Cracked every pair at the slot.

I hate Super Blue as it is basically an ink.

Gary,
I am sure after 1.5 liters you are well flushed on a SC! Your reservoir could be blue for a while.
Is the GS-610 available again? I used it once and liked it... about comparable the Castrol SRF as far as boiling resistance as I recall.

The trick to getting out the blue is to start by bleeding with a dry Motiv. On a C2, there are separate compartments in the reservoir, so watch carefully as you bleed each one down to near empty (about 1/2" from the bottom is how far I go). Then you fill up the reservoir with fluid, and re-bleed again. You'll find you get much clearer fluid this way AND you'll use less fluid to do the flush.

Superblue sux... rather use ATE Type 200 which is the same thing and it doesn't stain...

GS610 is the ****! Have not found any difference with GS610 vs. SRF except price.

A single flush will not remove all the fluid unless you tear the system apart and rebuild. There are places that are not in direct flow during a flush. Nooks and corners so to speak. Flush, drive some to mix new and old and flush again will get most. 3 times with mix cycle will get most of the pervious fluid. Switching to SRF and only doing one flush is same as using the previous fluid for the most part as there will be enough of the older fluid to impact the new.

Actually I "turkey basted" out all of the (single in my case) reservoir fluid before I started flushing and re-filled with GS610, which I assume accomplishes the same thing. I also agree with Kurt, the car needs to be driven, bled, and repeated several times before the last traces of blue will be gone. I'm confident that I am running fairly pure GS610 at this point..

+1. Not worth the price difference for our cars Gary.
