Default Why Boxster's shouldn't lift for GT3's

Here is a quick clip showing what happens when you lift and let GT3's pass then continue to push to keep your own momentum up. Luckily no damage to said GT3. And look in my mirror while I am under braking avoiding the spin, another rear engine car, not looking far enough ahead, has to take to the grass to avoid rear ending me. All in fun...

Not that this video is what happened to me but it bring up exactly why I do not like to put pressure on a car to give me a point by. I really do not like getting on a cars bumper in the turns in fear of that car in front spinning out and coming back at me.

Late last year I had a close one with a car I was coming up on in turn 16. they were in the same kind of car I had and they would not give me a point by from 10 on and I stuck with them on the bumper anticipating a point by after 13 I never got and I figured I'd maybe get on after 16 on the back straight. They were driving over their head and spun tracking out in 16 and came close to hitting me.

Glad you were not collected, I think after watching that T might have it correct when he just blocks and does not let anyone by. Athough his new toy may change that. BTW I have spare mirror in my rig for you, and all the electronic bits should have been corrected so game on. I have new motivation thanks to timing sheets.

Cheers and Happy 4th

How is it that those two drivers were put in the same run group?

Chad, in all fairness to GT3 owners, I wouldnt call your car a "boxster"
It is faster and more capable than a 996 GT3 street car by far, he killed himself to get past you then never got back on line.
glad no damage was done.
Stop bullying the poor GT3 guys!

Dell the above does NOT apply to you!!
