Yeah viva la vanos till you have to replace it. I had an E39 too. And IMO the E-39 and E46 were the best looking and the 7 series pre bangle.

Car styling should be about "form follows function". -Porsche is very good at this!
What chris bangle & bmw did was "F@#$ that and let's just doodle and make BIG ****!"
Current state of bmw reminds me of an old fairy tale called, "King without clothe"
So saaaaaad...
'Cause I used to love BMWs like M1,E36 M3,M635CSi,E39 M5,even 850i and yes, let's not forget that 2002tii!!!!!!

The wife is very much pestering me to get a new BMW (Z4 or M3 coupe) instead of a used 997. I may have no choice. While I don't mind either I told her that every time I wash it it would be like fondling Bangle's *****. Not to mention I want to be a two Porsche family.

The new M is not bad IMO. And I think the Z4 has very nice front end and lovely overall shape. But the hoeey donk side sculptures and that hideous rear end almost ruin it. Not to mention the interior is a disgusting disaster.
