Default second hood latch for racing

Hi
I want to take my car for a new laps in the monthy Porsche Club sprints. The track requirement are that I need to fit a second safety latch to the bonnet/hood. Can anyone give me some advice as to how I should fit the second safety latch, what materials to use and so on. Any suggestions would be most gratefully received.

Cheers

You could help us out by telling us what kind of car you have.

There are rubber tie downs that are used a lot on the longhood 911s. They're widely available for Mini Coopers and are a $5 item. They do require drilling your sheet metal.
