hey guys....

been partying!... had a party after the race.. then had a lil one when i got back to Charleston....

the race was awesome.... what an incredible feeling.. to fight for the win like that.. and get it.... and after last years crash.... i was just happy to make it through the morning warmup!!!

Liddle and I fought alot.... you saw about 40% on TV of some good action... we bumped some.. and the usual stuff.... we also had a 3 way battle with the 69 mazda.... and also the 68 TRG car.... the Mazda was holding strong but then i guess his tires went or he just couldn't do it anymore... the conditions were changing constantly and it was very difficult... alot of guessing was involved when entering the corner... lol..... like how much grip.. wheres the car in front of me gona go.. where can i go if he spins... how the hell can i pass this guy..... from lap 20 to 10 i was very nice to my tires while fighting with these guys.. i could see the Mazda fall off... the tires seemed to fall suddenly... and then you were toast... i searched for as much water to keep them cool.. and they were right that one time on the back straight... opposite lock in the kink trying to drive on water.... (that doesn't make much since!)...... then it was just me and the 57.. Robbin drove very well but i could see him struggling...

i took my time and pressured him.... he made a minor mistake and went off a lil in the last corner.... he was about 2 sec back and losing a second a lap... then a couple laps later he went off in turn 1... i already kinda knew i had it.. but then i was just cruising... hoping the tires didnt have a failure.... the car was crabbing at this point.... every corner was a counter steer situation though the whole thing...

the 66 car wasn't as close as they said it was.. so i knew i had it in the bag.... i was actually mad at first when i saw the cation because i knew that would bunch us back together... but then realized it would finish under yellow and it was a done deal....

i was so freekin happy... i couldn't really talk... as you could see in the interview!..

its awsome to get the first one for Porsche for the season.... and FarnbacherLoles deserves it... they work so hard and are the best team in the paddock... i have to thank them for giving me a car i can win in.....

the 86 and 87 have had serious bad luck in the past couple of races.... and without some kinda stupid thing happening.. you will see the 87 car up front.. for the team.. im pretty positive the 87 car will get a win.... and that will mean both team cars scored podiums and wins in the season.. which shows you what kinda team it is.. with 2 strong cars.....

thanks to all you guys for the support... it was a great feeling battling and then driving to the win... unreal... i wanna do it again!!!

You don't have a future in television!

Nice job, KinELman.

BTW, me and Liddel do NOT have the same thing in common.

You have any shot at the Pontiacs or Mazda's if it doesn't rain? It seems as if the Porsche's still need a weight reduction to have a fair shot at the tube frames. It is nice however to see them hunkered down at an appropriate ride height instead of up in the sky.

btw. Great drive! It was fun to watch with all the sliding around and passing!

in the dry.... its possible.. but probably not......

we still need 100 less pounds.....

the ride height helped alot tho... both 86 and 87 were fast in practice... but on a long race stint.. our tires would have fallin off.....

Are the Corvettes 'Prep 1 or 2? They don't seem to be doing well either.

Watching the battle with Liddel I could see that the pcar was competitive for the first time this year. In the rain any way. What will happen in dry race conditions?

Why did they wait so long? The Banner Boys and other Pontiacs have already put so much distance from the rest of the pack it looks almost impossible for anyone else to win this year.

Banner has been in the lead 59% of all laps run so far this year. I'd like to see the series explain that disparity.

Thanks Mike. I have 3 of them. You have to remember to set it though. How about an answer to my question?
