Default Trailers (open) again!

Anyone use Sloan or Texas rollback trailers?

Are they available in aluminum, and how do they perform?

We have had 2 of them and they are great!! Sloan has made some good changes over the years and we have never had any troubles out of his trailers. I don't recall if they make them in aluminum or not. We have sold both of our trailers to local guys who are still using them, our first one we got back in 92.

I had a Texas rollback and wish I still had it. It usually got more looks/questions than my car at track events. It was steel and with a tire rack it weighed right about 2000lbs IIRC.

I've got one, and it's steel...weighs in about 2,000 lbs as mentioned earlier. I love it!

Had never seen one before, just watched the video
http://www.kwikload.com/carhauler.htm
Pretty neat idea.
Seems like a better choice for an open trailer than a Trailex (assuming they make an all aluminum version, it only said aluminum floor and fenders, so I'm guessing the frame is still steel)

The approach angle appears fairly steep for very low cars with long front overhangs.

We had to use boards to get the cup car on.

I have the 20' Sloan with Aluminum deck, steel frame. Very easy to use although requires boards to load my lowered 993. Tows very easily behind my F150.

Am I missing something? Isn't it just a Tilt trailer?
