Default Performance Friction Brake Pads

I am trying to buy some replacement pads for the fron of my 944 turbo s. I really like the pads that the previous owner put on (Performance friction pads) and want to buy the same again

On the box they are marked PF77009716 RS PFC RACE PAD 928S4 FRONT (also see 04447.97.17.44)

My question is....... When I look on OG racing to buy a set there are 3 options for compound

01 RACE
97 RACE
83 RACE

Does anyone know which of these compounds my current pads are?

Any other good suppliers to buy these from?

The number on the box has "97" hidden in the part #...these are PFC 97. OG racing has a good price, and can confirm your part #. They are very good to work with

Yup, those are 97s and I second Chuck's endorsement of OG Racing. Great service, fast shipping, and good prices. I usually receive my stuff from them in 4 days or less.

Love fest

Yeah, I use and enjoy PFC97s as well, and also support OG as they are great guys who know their stuff.

I have been using 01 compound and felt they were too hard on the rotors. I switched back to the 97 compound and it seemed easier on the rotor and still felt like it had good bite.
