It must be the new "in" thing, as we had one "rolling" around Watkins Glen last Monday and Tuesday at the Niagara event. Someone must have pictures or video. Same color too!

Absolutely hysterical. Great driving, he drove a much better line than the girl with the camera. Very late apexes to get that pig rotated and he was constantly opening up the wheel to keep his rear end back there. I think there were 3 people in the thing too. Can anybody tell me what track that was?...

We should do a rental car DE sometime. Everyone in a grandpa car. :roflmao:

Barber Park. When these guys did this last year, I remember they actually had to replace the rotors before turning the car back (it was only a 2 day event) and they had all 4 tires flipped on the rims to hide the bald outside edges.

FYI, the camera car had a driver + the commenting passenger.

Using humans for ballast! They should have been "trapezing" like catamaran crews to give that dude some assistance with lateral roll.

And to think Tremper wasn't amused at being assigned that student. I woulda thought air conditioning, leather seats, cup holders, etc. would be appreciated by an instructor. :icon107:

That must have confused the load leveling rear suspension:):) What a riot!!

I once had the pleasure of taking hot laps in an instructor's Lincoln LS - with two other students - at Mid-Ohio - in an Instructor run group. He wasn't dogging it, either.
This instructor happens to own a Grand-Am DP team, and knows his way around the track. Quite hilarious.

What a Hoot! And I do agree with JR about the Marquis taking much better lines than the camera car.

Way back in 1967, I tried to lose a cop on Balboa Island in my mom's 1965 Country Squire (those of you under 50 can google it). I must have looked just like that fat Mercury only on a shorter, tighter track. Yea they finally cornered me (hey it was an island), but it took 3 crusiers to do it....
