Aiptek users (again) - what setting?
I purchased the Best Buy special 1080i Aiptek A-HD+ and wonder what setting you use to record. I've seen some great samples on Vimeo, but it seems to me that using 720P 60F for an entire 20minute run group would be a GIGANTIC file, and uploading it would be nuts.
I've got a 2GB card - how many hours of recording can I get in the various settings, and what settings have you all tried and found success with?

One setting I would suggest: change the WHITE balance setting from AUTO to the appropriate setting (Sunny, cloudy...etc). Otherwise, your video may look a bit like a scifi movie gone bad!
Knock the res setting down a notch or two if you don't have the storage capacity....

It seems that the battery runs out FAST on this camera, at least when I use the screen and in handheld mode. Is there a way to operate it (record) without using the LCD, which eats away at the battery? I can't imagine lasting even one full run group of 20 minutes with it.

I notice that under a full charge, as soon as I open the lcd and start recording, the indicator goes from 3 bars to 2 bars. Frustrating. I did charge it for over 12 hours before first use, so it's not as if the battery wasn't 'conditioned' properly, for whatever that's worth.
Has anyone figured out how to start recording with the LCD shut, or shut the LCD while recording to preserve battery life?
