Why has it rained at every track event this year?
Looking at the extended forecast for the Club Race at Mid-Ohio, I can't help but wonder what I did to get rained on for every event I've been to this year so far. Sebring (rain before the gearbox failed), Road Atlanta, OVR DE and NASA Mid-Ohio race in April. Everyone of them has been wet.

Bummer John. It rained a good part of the weekend at the NASA VIR in March as well. I know that Mid Ohio is known for rain and that is your stomping grounds isn't it? Hopefully the PCA Glen at the end of this month will be good? Are you going? I just ordered 200 lbs of lead ballast so I can go to GT4S.

It doesn't always rain. Here's a couple shots of our first DE in MN this year.

One of the main reasons I decided to go back to Barber was because when I was there in Apr. with Chin it rained most of the day Sat. and I just didn't get enough quality track time.
I know you can learn alot in the rain yadda yadda but Barber really has no good place to go off with all of the armco. I watched a Boxster go of in T3 and his car was flatbedded out of there.
Anyway I am definitely looking for some nice dry conditions.

Rained this past weekend for my season opener - perfect changing conditions race, I would've rocked the house if my #1 plug wire hadn't fallen off!!!
I think this is global warming balancing itself out; rain comes out, pace goes down, fuel mileage goes up, and emissions go down... viola, everything back to normal! )
