Default Supporting seats to rollcages

Can FIA legal plastic seats be supported and anchored to roll cages at any place other than the seat base? You can drill and support aluminium seats but how do you support a plastic one (specifically the seatback)? Does any seat maker build in seat back anchors like the seat base anchors? If you support a plastic seat too rigidly will it just snap in half?

Racetech's viper and I think their $4k pro seats have threaded inserts for a backbrace, they are the only ones I know of that do. The others were tested to FIA requirements without a backbrace, but with the proper FIA approved backets, so basically they weren't designed to be used with a backbrace and shouldn't be used with one.
