Default VIR World Challenge In-Car

About midnight last night I finally got my in-car up on the website. Here are all the highlights of my 2nd place finish at VIR trailing the leader by .09 seconds at the finish line. Lap 2 of the race was the fastest lap of the race and the new track record. Enjoy.

They are very similar to the rear engined unbalanced car with the exception of less horsepower than the black beast in your avatar. Very edgy the whole time!

Great racing! Looks like you had your hands full. Those Acuras must have decent power as they pull strong on the straights.

Thanks for sharing.

Great door to door racing!
I notice the lead car (Kumo), consistantly tapped his brakes 2 times going into the downhill section onto the front straights (Hogpen?). On the 2nd tap he's downhill on decreasing radius. I would think that's dangerous? I always tap before the left turn in and and throttling down the hill, then WOT for the front straight. Maybe is a rear engine thing.
Did anyone else see that? How do you do it?
Also, his right tail light is out. Can you declair "foul" and win by technicality

Nice run Seth. I got to watch the race yesterday. Your BMW looks like a lot of fun, pretty quick and very stable off-throttle. I'd love to get a chance to drive it sometime. I don't beach my cars like Pebbles!

Anyway I'll have to try your line through 11/Oak Tree and through 14/Rollercoaster for the PCA club race there in August. I feel more comfortable burping the gas in those short sections (you did it once or twice), but it may be more of a 911 thing.

Seth great job I see your time with me helped....

Car just got dropped off for interior harvesting followed by complete welded cage, etc plus extra bits. Should wind up very similar to chads but down on HP. Look forward to our next adventure I will call/email when all is back together.

Really liked the file Sebring stuff from 08. Cheers
