Default More good news for Northeast track rats

It appears The Monticello race track will indeed be opening up it's doors for outside events. NASA/PDA seems to have secured two dates for this fall, and if they got them i'm pretty confident a club the size of PCA will be getting in there also.. Two tracks, one 2.x and one 4.x miles from what I heard.

I've been waiting for the day when we have enough tracks in the NE that we can hold a Northeastern PCA regional series/championship. You could visit each track (LRP, WGI, Summit, Thunderbolt, Monticello) 1-2 times. In a few years we can add Palmer, MA. Six tracks (up to 12 races) would make for an awesome season.

Interesting, when you click on the track the first image to come up is a photo of turn 15 at Barber Motorsports Park

yet another reason to race with NASA in the NE

Next year will be even better than this year. We'll have Summit, Glen, NJ Motorsports, Pocono (cough, cough), Monticello and the championships at Mid-Ohio (and maybe they'll get LRP back). That will be a fun series.

That's why I thought it looked familiar..

I wonder if they did not fill their quota with club members. Then again, do you think these tracks can live as country clubs only???

That is great news, another reason to get my track car sooner, cant wait to come out and play.
