I'm looking for some input on what tire pressure works best with the Hankook Z214? I tried searching but I wasn't able to find anything. I'm looking for the hot pressure.
Thanks in advance..

There's not much out there on these tires. I'll be using them this summer. AIM recommended starting out at 27 cold and then taking data from there.
Have you call Hankook?

I have two sets of C50/51 compound 245/40 and 275/35 18's in the garage waiting for my Jongbloed wheels to get finished.
The C51 compound is supposed to be a new formulation, but not significantly different from the C50 compound.

Last year I ran two sets of Z211 C50 and found tire pressure and wear to be quite similar to RA-1. Anyhow, the Z211 liked to be run in and around 35 hot.

I aim for 36-37 hot. My car (with driver) must weight 2800 lbs - was 2850 last year. I ran the C51 compound. With that I got great wear with them. From what I observed last year, people either love them or hate them. It probably has something to do with a person's individual driving style.

FWIW, when I started out on Hankooks in May of 2007, I ran them at my cold Hoosier pressures...I had TERRIBLE lap times for about 3-4 events until I simply started adding 2lbs to them until I knocked off some great lap times.
I used to start out at 28lbs cold with my Hoosiers in a 3,300lb (total w/driver) 911 C2.
This did NOT work very well with the Hankooks...I start out at 32lbs cold with them, 33 if it's 50deg. or less...works out great and I'm getting considerably faster times then on the R6.
Hankook has been backing me up for a year now...I'm a "convert" indeed.![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I had a ball leading most of the 2007 NASA Championship Race on Hankooks and was thrilled to get a 2nd place win out of it amongst all the German competitors that were clad in R6s. With the onslaught of the new C51 compound, I only hope that the tires will remain a bit more consistent throughout a session/race...they are just NOW coming out with the 17" 275s in the C51 compound, the 245s came out last Summer so they're a bit behind on the 275s, my main issues with the car "going away" during a session is with the rears...so my fingers are crossed.
Hopefully this is helpful to you guys who want to try out the Z214s, I love 'em and as long as they display similar characteristics as the pricey Hoosiers, I'll stick with 'em - literally!

I am new to them, too, but like them so far. Like Hoosiers (and unlike the RA1's that I had been running for 2+ years), they do not like a lot of slip angle, so I have to be a bit more precise at turn in, and square off a bit more some of the turns that the RA1's loved to WOT drift through.
EDIT: so far, in just one weekend on one track, I have found that my cold starting pressures are nearly identical to what I used on the RA1's based on probe pyrometer readings. I have not yet been able to get pyro readings on the 214's, but will soon. However, the tires worked really well at these settings (which are a lot lower than most people expect....like 25 cold psi).
