I don't want to start any smack talk, but being an East Coaster and spending 21 years in Denver I've got to say that Jess and the fellas will do fine in upstate New York.

Trust me. Some spots of upstate New York may not have the technology that Colorado has. Remember......I've been to both places.

Don't exaggerate Colin, the armco is as much as 6 feet off the track edge in places, plenty of "run-off"!

Nice..!! I think the 914 wing should help keep the Semi planted around a few of the mountain passes on the way to NY..!!

Looking at the first shot I thought that wing would have gotten into the wires above.
Look out for low bridges!

Ahhhhh, this is going to be fun.

Man I wish I could be there.

Pay very close attention to Bill. He is a master of Texas understatement

Colin, you mean you East Coasters actually look at the Armco?

Just for the sake of clarification, that truck was very articulated. The 914 got dropped a few feet before it left.

We ain't no escared of a few metal walls! You guys seem to get your panties all in a bunch over these small details. We're more big picture guys out here (Someone will remind me of this comment as I'm extricated, I'm sure.)

Got to go get ready to race at Heartland Park.

We can't wait to be there.

*most all of my comments are meant in jest. It's hard to convey that sometimes in text.

Jess, didn't get to say high to you guys at TWS. But, you had a great race with Buckley. Track was slow but the racing was great!

Less than two weeks until the Glen and the Colorado boys are loading the open hauler (aka Redneck Express) this Monday. Where are all of the fun people going to be Thursday night (May 29th)? Looking forward to mixing it up, on and off the track, with some easterners.

Well, the day has come!

The great "load up" begins at 3:00 pm this afternoon. The gear is going in Chris Cervelli's trailer and the redneck hauler picks up the cars at 8:00 am tomorrow for the long haul from the Rockies to the Glen. Our band of happy pranksters take over an early flight thursday to some small airport near the track.

The eleven drivers plus most of our wives are hoping to make it to registration Thursday evening.

We can't wait to be there and meet all of you Easterners.

Back to the garage to finish packing the things I can remember. I'm sure I'll forget much and be looking to borrow upon arrival.

Safe travels to all,

I hadn't noticed Jesse's post until tonight. We are all loaded and ready - from the eminently-prepared Michael Martin to the Just-built-a-new-SC-racer-after-wrecking-at-HPT Steven Wright. Everyone is looking forward to meeting you right coasters and having some great racing. The best case scenario would have our hauler able to actually "DROVE" all the cars back onto the hauler following Sunday's Enduro.

See you at the Seneca bar.

D class field is the biggest it's been in a while and it's going to be some great racing, you guys are going to have a blast. D and E really mix it up at the Glen. If you guys want to go out in one of the practice sessions together, look me and Gary R up (#372 and #954). Our cars look the same and we'll be parked next to each other.
