Default Wild ride in first SCCA race @ PIR

This was my first regional race in the SCCA (ITE). I made a newbie mistake and was watching my mirrors under braking in the hope that I could get the faster driver to pass. I turned in too late and too fast. I'm just happy the car and I are in one piece. Lesson learned.

Enjoy,

Yep, funny how you can look away for an instant at the wrong moment and not feel the car rotating. You look back and and you're a passenger!

Done it-got the T-shirt.

It was a big lesson for me to drive my own line unless someone is next to me.
