Default competing with AWD.. Alignment recommendations?

Hi all. I am looking for advice on competition alignment recommendations
for AWD 911s. I am running (necessarily) street tires (shaved Yokohama
Advan Neovas)
thanks in advance,

I think the best advice you can get is from your area Porsche shops that set up DE cars. There are enough of them at the track (993, 996, and 997 AWD) that they must know (for example, I know Farnbacher Loles sets up several). Have to wonder why you'd shave street tires - sounds like just throwing money away two times - the cost of shaving and the lost rubber. Some R-comps sure (ie: RA1s), but others are just fine full tread depth, like PSCups.

I have torn up full-tread street tires by tearing off chunks that pulled off rubber
down to the cord, though that was years ago... I do want every last tenth of
a second, but if Yokohama can tell me there's no gain in shaving, I'd be happy.

Well, if you want every 10th, then you should be on R-comps I've run PS2s as my cold / rain tire and also as my "training" tire when getting used to a new car. I've run full tread PS2s at Lime Rock and Watkins Glen at upwards of 1.5 G lateral, 1.3 G braking with fantastic lap times. No chunking. Sure, they melted a bit at the surface and looked pretty ugly, but that's fine. After a while on the street, they look good as new.

Joe: Sharkworks, DEVEK, or TRG in Petaluma should be able to help you out.
