Question MXL Pista maps question

I am looking for map files for my AIM MXL pista system. I changed laptop and lost all of them but for 3 italian tracks that i will never run on.

Does anyone have decent .mp files for:
Lime Rock
Watkins Glen
Mid Ohio
Road America
Daytona
Sebring

Any info on where i could find those map files would be great.

Thanks

Fred

Fred,

I am sure you probably know this already but I figured I would mention anyways - If you have a data file from each track you can open it and then create a new track map.

Or do you not have the data files either - in which case why do you want the maps?

Did you customize the maps to your liking?

I probably have maps for MidOh , Watkins Glen, & Sebring - but I have not customized them and they visually look only average to me...

Hey Norm,

i am new to AIM and was wondering if there is a way to get good maps of tracks instead of interpolating track maps from the data after running the tracks. But your question tells me that the only way to get a map is to generate it from the data?

Hey Fred,

I believe that to be correct - but to be honest even though I am familiar with AIM I am def not an expert.

Probably best to give AIM West coast a call and ask if you want to know for sure...

Their # is 951-674-9090

Fred,
You can contact Dave. He's local a couple blocks away from Eurosport shop. Very educated and knowledgeable man and easy to deal with. I'm sure he can help you out (probably over the phone).

Hey Mike,

no longer local. Moved to Connecticut back in December. Aren't you racing with the Eurosport guys down in Atlanta?

Take care

Is this an add-on or do you have to rip and replace? How much does it go for?

Fred,
I would love to be down in Atlanta now, but I'm doing some work to my car and it's not ready. I thought you were going..?

It's a add-on module Fred, I think the GPS kit goes for around $600. It does a few other things besides track mapping also. (like Speed).

Thanks. I have to prep my pitch. "Honey, i need to buy a GPS unit for the car. This way i will not get lost and will get home earlier to spend more time with you and the baby." Makes sense?

Maybe you can sell your Speed sensor to someone.. frees up a channel for your new Hyperspace sensor.
