Ok, quick question for you racing gurus..........

If I have the suspension setup reset as aggressively as Ron S. used to have when he ran Hoosiers,
can I still use my street tires for one event and expect some improved times from the current softer set up?

I know it is a stupid question, but what the heck, it is not my first one......

23 in Red run group

27 in Black run group

21 in White run group

71 total cars, divided in 2 groups of 35-36 cars each.....

It should be a blast considering the number of cars and different levels in the two groups....

Sean and Gary, I know it won't happen, but I am hoping for my own selfish reasons, that they place you in the lower Black run group........

they way you guys can school me.....

Don't take this the wrong way Paolo, but I'm praying to higher beings not to be in with the white run group guys on the first day of the year at LRP with sleet and freezing rain forecast for the morning

Hmm... It's always been taboo to put more than say 25 in a run group. I've never minded more (not that I've ever been in a run group with more than 30) because I have a blast going 3-wide into Big Bend, but that might be a bit much for new white run group drivers that aren't used to it...

So, remember a little discussion about what tires to use? I'm thinking my prediction of arriving with my PS2s is going to be spot on. I know, weather can change (and it does here in CT all the time), but the 1st event of the year is not a time to work the cobwebs out on Hoosiers

Hoosier Wet's if it's wet, Hoosier R6's if it's dry. See how easy life's choices can be?

How do I find out? Doesn't really matter to me, I figure you White cowboys will whittle down the overcrowding by 10-11:00..

Like I said, for my own selfish reasons I hope we run together, BUT I am not whimping out.....

I am staying for the entire day and run all the sessions, unless of course they cancel it due to snow.....

I will be there with my "faithful" street tires......
