I'd leave it just the way it is... A car that has that much love invested into her should be allowed to retain it's character Have your name added above the driver's door in script to personalize it.

I looked in the Cup Car **** thread too. Only thing is most of those designs are a little to new for our older cars and many are wraps.

I looked in a bunch of books and Goggle. Problem I found is the old car graphic are too boring for me. Center stripes alone just don't cut it. I like the copy of the 1978? car Mike I. did to his car. I think Constaf? has it now.

My wife drew me a couple of options but I am reconsidering. Might get Charlie to do a design before I decide. That is what I recommend for you.

Inclue an Italian flag or at least some Green/White/Red combos.

At this point I might just strip her and start with a blank canvas..........

Maybe I will get some more ideas at LRP CR......

BTW, I definetly want to include the Italian colors....somehow....

Here is a pic of race car theme I like. You could use the green and white in place of the colors in the stripes now.

Here is a pic of my old G car that Susanna at Helmet Heads designed. The colors are a bit off in the pic, but it gives you an idea on how she can "design" a car. I highly recommend her!

not that it will happen to you...
but solid colored fenders, and bumpers are easier to swap out... (or simple to replicate stripes)

in SCCA, new paint was worth +2 sec a lap...
