Penske Porsche overall!!!

Dr Ullrich with Audi was so mad that he said "****" in an after race interview... broadcast clearly on speed. Former-Gov Spitzer is probably cringing now.

THAT was a pretty darn cool race. Naturally I am biased with Porsche winning overall and the GT3 RSRs looking like a really solid challenge again. The Acuras are all right there in terms of pace and the Fernandez car was terrific - I really like those guys. It was also great to see the Dyson cars seriously mixing in at the sharp end of things - another bunch of people I really like.

It's too bad Peugeot dropped back so far with problems. They seemed to be consistently running 1 second better than Audi.

Maybe he can base his comeback around cleansing the US of potty-mouthed race team personnel!

P1- Hard to go against the Audi's. They know Sebring and the platform is proven. HOWEVER, Sebring does funny things to cars, thus my outlandish prediction of car #10, the ECO Racing Radical with the AER/ECO V-10 turbo diesel.

P2- Penske finally won the Daytona 500. He gets his Sebring win with the RS Spyder too. The only question is which car number. The #7 car did it all last year, and I think they do it again, although I'd like to see Sascha on the top podium step. My big question is how does Dyson step up this year? I think the #20 car is second, with an Acura rounding out the celebration.

GT1- Corvette. Next...

GT2- Do we go with the pre-race rumors of a much faster RSR, or stay with the proven winner from Maranello? Dark horse from the newer entries? No way. Jorg Bergmeister gets it done in spectacular fashion in the Flying Lizards #45 followed by 2 F-cars.
Not a bad effort if I do say so myself. Had the ECO car actually been on the track, it may have won class with all the problems the other P1's were having. Dang Mexican Acura was fast as greased lightning out there yesterday, perhaps there was a reason why . Not sure why Dyson went for the driver change at 1 hour remaining. Great race, great time at the track, my feet are tired today.
