ALMS GT2 Sebring Test...
LG Motorsports Corvette. I found this link and wanted to share it with others in this forum. Background from another site: a tire test conducted during a Chin event last fall at Sebring using the LGM Speed WC C6.
In a clear track, Lou runs different lines than I have observed in other in-car videos. He also has quiet hands for the lap times he's turning.
http://www.lgmracing.com 61 MB file size. Enjoy

Heard from a source that the Kumho tire package on the vette could be triple stinted if needed. Seems like the tires were in good shape and provided lots of grip. Should be interesting season in GT2.

Says webpage can not be found.
The test you are talking about might have been done during the December 22 Chin DE. Lou was there driving in the advanced solo group with his Vette, crew on the wall and the whole race team deal with us along with some other ALMS GT cars. Lou never had to give a point by! :-)

Yep, the link was a clink. As Mike said earlier, the video is embedded in the LGM website. Another lesson to be taken from that video is the importance to hold your line when being overtaken. Several times Lou had to lift when he wasn't sure where the car (s) he was passing were going. Godd stuff.

I like how he takes turn 5. His line is so different than the DE lines taught...much more agressive but he seems real smooth. I watched the whole 16 minute video TWICE!

Do you guys think the driver came across as surprisingly inconsistent? I saw wildly varying lines, shifting errors, and tentative braking. These are things I'd expect out of someone as awful at droving as me, not from someone who posts videos of himself on the internets.
And for good measure, I saw myself getting passed at least a few times on that video

I saw that too, Glen Gatlin told me to try that line, it looks like it really works! He also has a cool line in the last turn, sort of early apex, maybe it's a way to avoid the worst of the bumps by crossing them?
