The Valdez is in Kansas... most likely getting the shifter repaired at Imagine Auto after the Intercity Transort driver used VISE-GRIPS on the $1K, brand new Hargett shifter linkage because he couldn't find reverse! What a total IDIOT!!

I'm down to one car for the 1st time...

Have fun Fred, I know you'll do well there. Plus, what's the worry, your car knows its way around that track blind folded!

True... I did spend a lot of time in the kitty litter... Darn I cannot escape my past!

Charlie, you had Scotto dead bang when he got boxed in behind that car in the DH, how the heck did he PASS you, the Nitrous kick in?

My inexperience as a racer and fear for bent metal showed in that instance. I was anticipating Scotto pulling out from behind the 944 and didn't want him to hit me so I held back until I was sure there was space. This resulted in me delaying getting back on the gas so I didn't have the advantage I should have in that situation. Its just club racing, right?

Oh, and he probably did hit the nitrous switch...

that was one of those "be predictable" moments. The 944 stayed inside instead of tracking out. Scotto probably thought he would go outside so he could go inside.

You been talking to Sean? Hey, I could run it tomorrow, it will just be butt ugly and have no AIM system in her. Looks like i'm going to kill the bumble bee tail and go with silver graphics now too!

I had a feeling you may have lifted a bit there to be safe Charlie and I know exactly what you mean. I came up the uphill and into the rear of a 40MPH 944 and rather than swing around him I lifted/braked and watched 3 cars go flying by on my right. My goal was just to survive and I did..

Chris -
Looks like it, yes. I have to paint both bumpers and repair a fender so I may as well shoot the tail at the same time. Not sure about colors yet, if Dr. Jupe would stop posting here and get to work I would have a better idea..

thanks. they're virtual at the moment. The vinyl is in the basement. Gary's comment about Dr.J made me think to change my avatar.
