12 Hrs of Sebring Entry List
http://www.planetlemans.com/alms-200...ing-entrylist/
Does anyone have any updated info on the official entry list that may differ from what is posted above?
Only 5 997's in the mix, and 3 of those are Flying Lizards!
Nice to see a Euro RS Spyder there, but whatever happened to the chassis' "allegedly" purchased last year by CET?

It is certainly more diverse, IF the cars entered actually show up at race time. Quite a few no-shows at winter test for cars/teams that haven't been there before.
Looking at the CET website, they have the car, 2 known drivers, and a host of support staff. Still, they are off all radar scopes as far as participation. Their website says late 2007 (too late) to spring 2008 initial race date. Well, it's spring 2008 guys!!!!!! (At least in Florida it is).
If the RSR's don't match Ferrari this year, will Flying Lizards be the only team to field a P-car in GT-2 in 2009? (Yes, very early speculation, but this thread needs some spice).

This is an entry list all the races should have!
That reminds me, in Europe, there are Corvettes & Saleens racing in Le Mans series, why aren't any of those cars here in states?
Seeing GT1 or is it called "Corvette Cup" with two lone Corvettes "racing" it's just pathetic and stupid.

This just in: on a side-note, I was at Sebring this past weekend with SCCA and on Saturday there was a fire in the new wing of the Sheraton Four Seasons. Don't know the full extent of damage, but it took a lifetime for the Sebring FD to get there.

Doug,
The people who I will be camping with are from the SebringFans group. They have about 30 years experience collectively going to the race. I know all about the WFO party and have ordered my first Drinking for Holland Tshirt. Can't wait. I have attached my updated version of the 2008 poster. Note the flames and smoke from the hotel!

I would suspect that if you do not pre-purchase your corral ticket, that you won't be able to park there, whether the lot is full or not.
For many years all you had to do it go to your nearest dealer and get a free ticket to be able to park in the corral. It's a different ballgame now. If you do park in the corral, you get the opportunity to drive the track (not a big deal to those here, but many a Porsche owner has never set a tire on a track or auto-x course, so for them it's something special), and there is usually food and drink available (event dependent).
The Porscheplatz schedule is found here: http://www.imsaracing.net/2008/car%2...rscheplatz.pdf

Anybody else find it interesting that ARC is running a 96 RSR? Wouldn't be something if it bested the 997s?
I'm sure Porsche will see to it that it does not happen. Engine management control in the hands of the competition.
