Synchro crunch from 2nd to 3rd. Need recommendations on gear lube for G50/LSD tranny.

I contacted Redline about 2 years ago about what to use in the 928 to help reduce 2nd gear crunching. They recommended against shockproof in a high powered car. They said something about torque and pressures degrading it too fast vs the high rev/low torque bike/kart applications for which is was designed. A mixture of 75W90 and 75W90NS helped over whatever was in the transaxle before, but it's not cured (downshifting 3-2 still sucks).
Where did you buy the Delvac? I was thinking of trying Royal Purple or Liqui/Lubro Moly next, but the Delvac sounds interesting from the comments above.

So if wanted to Club Race my 86 911 with a 915 would Swepco be appropriate?
I have a hard time downshifting into 2nd as well, no crunching. Double clutching makes no difference. I also have a hard time getting it out of 3rd. I haven't had the car that long and I'm a little accepting of quirks in an older car as I try not to make unfair comparisons to a 2001 Boxster gearbox.

Thanks for the info. I just had a solid tranny mount installed. We'll see how well it works. As mentioned perviously, I did not have problems prior to opening up the transmission.
