Thanks for the invite fellas.
And yes, being in a car in a DE feel like a walk in the park compared to dicing with 30 bikes at the start of a race into T1 at TWS. I love it, totally hooked. My wife got me a ticket to the Skip Barber school to "get it out of my system" before baby #2 arrives, if she only knew.

Can't make this one. New car still has a way to go, and I don't have much time to prepare or put in track time in it. This spring's DE events are going to be a bit limited to me. Hope to get in member days at MSR to make up for the lost DE days.

What??.......Your car is perfectly track ready. Granted, it won't win the Blue Ribbon for looks but it sure runs good. Get that bad boy out there and see what it will do.

Jeff,
Yes, you are actually right, it should be ready mechanically, I was thinking cosmetics etc. I think it is more my work schedule not allowing the time away for the entire weekend, and getting time in the car prior to the event to learn the car. I am really jamed up for a while.

I'm picking up tires from your 'hood next weekend, and the ECU should arrive today. Things are starting to fall into place. But it looks like this event will be my first time driving the car on track.

Please do not call my friends "hoods". They prefer the title "economically aggressive asset transfer agents".....

I'll be there to watch and have some spectator fun.

For those of you who didn't check out the Sebring thread, our own Glen Gatlin ran in some pretty heady company in the night race last Friday - Leh Keen and Kevin Buckler were the only two racers ahead of MISTER GATLIN in GTC4. WOW! Congratulations, Glen. Great droving.
